How the Process Works

We are excited to support you, your family member, or your personnel. Because we are not a traditional counseling center in many ways, people don’t often know how to begin working with us. Follow the tabs below to learn more about this process. And of course, at any time, you may always call or email us for more information. We look forward to working with you!

1: Initial Contact

Most of our clients make contact with us either through email [email protected], or through the contact form on the “Initial Contact Form” page of our website. Please feel free to use whichever method is easiest for you, though we prefer the contact form on our website. You may also call us on our local Turkey number: 90 531 797 8508. Please keep in mind that we operate on Monday – Friday workday schedule and that Turkey is in the Eastern European time zone: (UTC +02:00).

2: Intake Form Completion

Once we receive your initial contact and understand which services that you desire, we will have you complete and return at least one Intake form. These may either be downloaded from our website, or you may request them from us through email. These forms will be Word documents that you can fill in on your computer and return to us via email. Upon completion of these forms, we will then assign a counselor(s) to your case and begin the scheduling process. The forms you return to us will better assist us in matching you with the counselor who can best serve your needs.

3. Scheduling

We ask all clients to wait until their time at Olive Tree has been scheduled before making travel arrangements to come to Antalya. When scheduling you, we take into account your ability and time frame to come as well as the schedule of the counselor that you will be working with. Most people come for a minimum of two weeks, though this time frame can be flexible. Depending on your or your organization’s needs for services, our staff are, at times, able to travel to your location for trainings, debriefing, and crisis response.
