"It’s a blessing and a privilege to hear and hold someone’s story. I love journeying with my clients as they experience healing and find meaning in their stories."
Jody is an associate counselor. She will be available in person for counseling September 7-18, 2026.
Jody is a Limited License Psychologist with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She has been counseling children and adults since 2014. Before taking a full-time position in member care, she worked in a counseling center specifically for global workers and pastors. Her areas of professional interest include children dealing with transition, anxiety and depression, as well as adults, both singles and couples, who have experienced trauma, are dealing with depression, are in transition, have low self-esteem, or experiencing a crisis of faith. When working with couples, she often employs a Couples Emotionally Focused Therapy approach. Before attending graduate school, Jody had 20+ years as a global worker in thee former Soviet Union and Afghanistan, and she often draws from those experiences. She is now based in the States, having just moved from Poland and travels extensively in Central Asia and the Middle East ministering to global workers.
In her leisure time, Jody enjoys almost anything that involves being outside, reading and a good cup of coffee – drinking coffee outside with a good book is her idea of heaven.
