“To trust in God is to base your life on the premise that whatever happens, you are in God’s hands, and that these hands are loving hands…” - Stephen T. Davis, “Words of Faith, Hope, and Love,” in This Incomplete One
Julie is an elementary school teacher by training and has spent much of her adult life involved in various forms of educating young children from substitute teaching to being a teacher in several kinds of children’s ministries to working in a pre-school classroom. When her own children were grown up, she and her husband moved to Budapest in 2021, hoping to support brave visions of God’s kingdom being dreamed here. They are currently involved in ministry to and with international young adults living in Budapest and throughout Europe.
She was introduced to Olive Tree fairly recently, and is excited to be using her organizational skills and attention to detail to help introduce and connect global workers to its services.
In her free time Julie likes both active pursuits and quieter hobbies. Some of her favorites are running, reading, hammocking, playing piano, knitting and other creative pastimes.
