Associate Counselor

Susan will be available for in-person counseling Spring 2024.

Susan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University and a master’s in Spiritual Formation from George Fox Seminary. She is an approved supervisor for the state of Oregon and has been an adjunct professor at George Fox University in the counseling program. Susan has taught with TELOS international Inc. with their international graduate counseling program in China and Peru.

Susan is trained in C.P.R.T (Child Parent Relationship Therapy), ADOPTS (Specialized therapy for pre and post adopted children and their parents), Gottman Method couples therapy, and PREPARE/ENRICH (pre and post couples inventory). She has experience with marital therapy, adoption, play therapy, trauma, self-esteem, and transition issues. Her passion is working with couples, families, sand tray Therapy, and working cross culturally.

Susan enjoys running, swimming, weaving, house remodeling, travel, exploring new cultures and spending time with her 12 grandkids.
